Cub Swanson will look to bounce back from his recent loss at WEC 44.
Sources have confirmed to MMA Madness have confirmed that Cub Swanson and John Franchi will be fighting on a WEC 44 card in November at an unknown venue. The card will feature the main event bout between Jose Aldo and featherweight champion Mike Brown.
Swanson (13-3) is coming off of a loss to No. 1 contender Jose Aldo in a brutal eight second knockout. Prior to the defeat, Swanson had won 13 of his 14 fights, with his only defeat coming at the hands of Jens Pulver.
Franchi (5-1) suffered his first career defeat at the hands of Manny Gamburyan by unanimous decision at WEC 41.
