Dale Hartt is the latest victim of the UFC's roster trimming.
The trickledown effect from Affliction: Trilogy’s cancelling is reaching farther than expected. To make room for some of the fighters acquired from Affliction, the UFC has released Dale Hartt, sources close to the fighter told MMAMadness.com.
Hartt (6-2) was undefeated before entering the octagon, but went 1-2 with the organization, with both losses coming in the first round. His lone win came in grisly fashion against Corey Hill at UFC – Fight for the Troops. Hartt checked a kick from Hill, breaking Hill’s leg in the process.
It is uncertain whether or not more UFC fighters will be released to accommodate the ex-Affliction fighters. Stay tuned to MMAMadness.com as we continue to update this situation.
