With the end of Affliction’s fight promotion business, many fighters
are now left searching for work. One such fighter is Andrei Arlovski,
who has suffered back to back losses to Fedor Emelianenko and Brett
Rogers.

While some companies may be coveting Arlovski, fiveouncesofpain.com is
reporting that the UFC is not one of them.

Now, he’s had a couple of bad performances,” said UFC president Dana
White, who was not happy when Arlovski left the company in 2008. “He’s
got to get back in the mix and win.”

“Sometimes, we make bad career decisions. I think leaving the UFC was
a bad career decision for him,” White said.

While it is yet to be seen if Arlovski leaving the UFC was in fact a
bad career move, his prospects for future employment have taken a big
hit.
