Aaron Simpson will replace Wilson Gouveia and face Ed Herman at UFC 102 on August 29.
Sources close to the event have told MMAMadness.com. UFC.com has confirmed the report by updating their fight card.
Simpson was scheduled to face Dan Miller at UFN 19 in September, but an injury to Gouveia left Herman without an opponent.
Simpson is 5-0 in his mixed martial arts career, with all five of his fights ending by KO or TKO. Only one fight has made it out of the first round.
Herman (15-7) will be looking to build off his unanimous decision victory over David Loiseau at UFC 97. Before that victory, Herman had lost two straight.
Whats all this talk of Gouveia,I thought he was fighting Sandman Irvin?
