Middleweights Wilson Gouveia and Alan Belcher are working towards a fight agreement for UFC 107. Both fighters are looking to rebound from losses.

A bout between middleweights Wilson Gouveia and Alan Belcher is in the works for UFC 107, MMAJunkie.com reported.

While nothing is official, a verbal agreement has been reached between the two fighters, and a fight announcement should come in the next few weeks.

Belcher (14-6) is looking to rebound from a controversial split decision loss to Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 100.

Gouveia (12-6) will also look to return to the win column. He was TKO-ed by Nate Marquardt in the third round at UFC 95.

UFC 107 is expected to take place on Dec. 12 at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tenn.

The fights so far are as follows:

- B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez (for lightweight title)

- Kenny Florian vs. Clay Guida

- Cheick Kongo vs. Frank Mir

- Thiago Alves vs. Paulo Thiago

- Alan Belcher vs. Wilson Gouveia
