Jones signed a new deal.
Rising light heavyweight star Jon Jones signed a four-fight deal with the UFC, MMA Madness has learned.
Jones has been impressive in his last three outings in the octagon. The undefeated fighter (9-0) recently announced that he was going to train with Greg Jackson’s esteemed camp in New Mexico.
No fight has been scheduled for Jones, but his manager and trainer Ryan Ciotoli said Jones would like to get back into the cage sometime in November, if not sooner. He would like to fight before December, as he and his wife are expecting their second child.

i would have signed him to a 10 fight contract.
hell yeah daley, this kid’s gotta lot of potential. it’s crazy for me to think that he and I are the same age. not only is he in the ufc, but he’s about to have two kids…damn haha. seriously though, he has his work cut out for him, he’s got some impressive-looking wins, but he’s beaten stephan bonnar and jake o’brien, i hope he can keep the momentum going once he breaks into the upper echelon of the division. he’s young though, no need to rush it, we see all of the time young guns with a lot of potential getting put up against guys with twice or three times as much experience and they just get smashed.
it’s great him being so yound as we know we are going to get some great matches out of him,i didnt know he was having two kids,it will only mature and focus his dedication to fighting for him and his family.him and rampage jackson would be a war.

Daley makes all the great points I was thinking…young and 10 fights…I wouldn’t have laughed, this guy is good getting better. I liken him to Branden Vera when he first came up. U I hope he keeps winniung and training hard to avoid whatever has stolen Vera’s talents…he’s a mystery to me, unless the level of competition was so low at Vera’s begining UFC career…again, I’m baffled!!! Jones has all the tools!!!
the next andersson silva
i think it was in vera’s head/feelings/dedication that caused his decline but he looks good again.vera and jones are definatly the future of the division.be good to see how they do against the top of the tree experienced guys like rampage, tito, franklin, hendo, belfort, cotoure, jardine.
sorry scrub sardine from that list haha.
