Kevin Randleman, Jorge Santiago, & Michihiro Omigawa Added to Sengoku’s November Show

UFC veterans Kevin Randleman and Michihiro, along with ATT middleweight Jorge Santiago, have been added to the eleventh Sengoku event. While the fighters have yet to be paired with opponents the announcement is speculated to come shortly from World Victory Road.

UFC veterans Kevin Randleman and Michihiro, along with ATT middleweight Jorge Santiago, have been added to the eleventh Sengoku event. While the fighters have yet to be paired with opponents the announcement is speculated to come shortly from World Victory Road.

Santiago, Sengoku’s middleweight champion, is 21-7 professionally and is currently enjoying a nine-fight win streak. Santiago (21-7) last fough in January where he defeated Kazuo Misaki to win the Sengoku middleweight title; just two months after winning the middleweight grand prix.

Randleman (17-13) is a former UFC heavyweight champion who, after a two year hiatus, is 1-1 since his return. His last defeat came via unanimous decision to Mike Whitehead in Strikeforce’s June show. “The Monster” has had some controversy in his thirteen year MMA career charges include submitting a fake urine sample to the NSAC and speculation of steriod use. Though no official announcement has been made, rumors have risen that suggest “King” Mo Lawal will take on Randleman.

Omigawa (7-8-1) recently competed, and lost, in the Sengoku 9: Featherweight Grand Prix. Before that loss he had beated L.C. Davis, Nam Phan, and Marlon Sandro.

Sengoku 11 will be held November 7, at the Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
