Edgar's Army is ready to take on TUF 9 runner-up DaMarques Johnson at UFC 107
Sources close to MMA Madness have stated that they have received the bout agreements and have been signed.
Training out of Chance Farrar’s Arizona Athletic Club, Garcia (7-1) is coming off of a loss to Brad Blackburn via Split Decision at the The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale. Despite the loss, Garcia’s UFC debut did receive “Fight Of The Night”.
Johnson (9-7) had been training for a UFC 105 bout verses Peter Sobatta. The UFC had to scratch the bout after Sobatta had to pull out of the fight due to military commitments. Johnson’s previous fight was a loss to James Wilks in the finals of The Ultimate Fighter Season 9.
UFC 107 is headlined by B.J. Penn and Diego Sanchez for the UFC lightweight title.
