Recent rumors are pitting Thiago Alves vs Paulo Thiago as part of the UFC 107 card on December 12. When Paulo Thiago was contacted regarding the bout on August 23, he had yet to be contacted by Joe Silva or other UFC representatives. Alves is coming off a five-round war with welter weight king Georges St-Pierre at UFC 100 in July.
UFC 107 is to be held at the Fedex Forum in Memphis, TN. It was announced late last week that would-be co-headliner, Rampage Jackson is off the card due to his obligations with acting in the A-Team movie.
