
Machida vs. Rua headline the UFC's return to California at UFC 104.
The card order for UFC 104 was announced by the UFC officials today.
The main event will feature champion Lyoto Machida taking on former PRIDE light heavyweight grand prix champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua for the light heavyweight title.
The semi-final bout will feature former IFL contender Ben Rothwell making his UFC debut, taking on rising UFC star Cain Velasquez.
Josh Neer makes another appearance on the main card, taking Sean Sherk’s place against Gleson Tibau. Former lightweight contender Joe Stevenson will take on Spencer Fisher in another match on the main card.
The pay-per-view portion of the card will be opened by a returning Anthony Johnson, as he takes on Yoshiyuki Yoshida.
