Sources have confirmed to MMA Madness that Ricardo Almeida has to pull out of his UFC 106 bout with Jon Fitch, due to a knee injury.
The fight was supposed to be Almeida’s UFC debut at welterweight. No replacement has been named for Fitch as of the moment.
Almeida was riding a two-bout winning streak, most recently against Kendall Grove at UFC 101.
