Page will take on Mizugaki at WEC 45
Two bantamweights who are looking for a title shot will face each other at WEC 45.
Sources close to the fight have confirmed to various outlets that Takeya Mizugaki will face Damacio Page at WEC 45 in Las Vegas.
The bout was first reported by Sherdog.
Mizugaki is coming off of a split decision victory over Jeff Curran in August, and made his WEC debut taking former champion Miguel Torres to the limit on short notice.
Page defeated Will Campuzano in his last outing by rear naked choke. The Greg Jackson-trained fighter is looking to position himself for a title shot with a win over a top contender like Mizugaki.
