I think Houston may actually pull off the win. Remember, he KOd Keith Jardine, which is a hell of a lot more than Kimbo has done in the sport. I’m not saying that that alone means Alexander will win, but he showed a glimpse of brilliance in that fight, even if he did get tooled by Thiago Silva and then embarassed by James Irvin.

Man all I can say is this will be a brawl. Id have a heart attack of someone won by submission. I seem to remeber kimbo subing someone in elitexc.

Punisher kimbo got a guillotine win on ray mercer. If houston can put kimbo on his ass then its a GNP win for the assasin

Haha, the fight with Ray Mercer was in AC, I tried to get down there to see it but couldn’t. Of course he subbed Ray Mercer though, Ray probably went into that fight thinking his hands would get him through anything, probably didn’t train any kind of grappling at all.

For perhaps the only time ever, I’m predicting Houston Alexander to win.

Really interesting to me how the tone of the posts have gone through a real metamorphoses concerning Kimbo Slice. Previous to his appearance on TUF 10, most posts were heavily negative, casting Kevin Ferguson as a joke, an insult to MMA, nothing but a street brawling thug. He’s still essentially the same guy, but I think seeing him try so hard on the show to improve, and hearing him talk in his unassuming humble way, has helped a lot of fans see Kimbo in a different, more positive light.

The Madness guys who post here are all pretty knowledgeable, and I think we all know Slice will never be a well rounded elite MMA pro, but for all that, personally I still find him compelling to watch. I thought he came within a punch or two of overcoming Roy Nelson before ending up on the ground, and I certainly think he could potentially do the same against Houston Alexander. Catch-weight at 215 shouldn’t be too hard for Kimbo, although he was not that fat at 230 on the show, and he should be able to maintain power and speed. Whatever happens, however it goes, should be entertaining, and I for one will be rooting for Kimbo to win.
