Miller will look to go 5-1 in the UFC
Jim Miller will now face Sean Sherk on the main card of UFC 108.
Miller’s coach, Mike Constantino, announced the change on Facebook.
“Opponent Change: Jim Miller will now be facing Sean Sherk at UFC 108…Rafaello Oliveira waiting on new opponent…” Constantino wrote.
Miller was originally slated to face Tyson Griffin, but an injury forced Griffin to withdraw from the fight. As Constantino also said in the post, Rafaello Oliveira, who was scheduled to fight Sherk, has now been left without an opponent.
Miller (15-2) is looking to build off of back-to-back wins in the UFC. The New Jersey product is 4-1 in the UFC.
Sherk (33-4) will try to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to Frankie Edgar, a teammate of Miller.
