Fighters Weighed in for Combat Sports Championship’s Fight Night I
The Combat Sports Championships completed weigh-ins Thursday night at the Argosy Hotel & Casino in anticipation of its first-ever card on Friday night.
Roger Gracie out of ADCC
Roger Gracie, grandson of Carlos Gracie and 6-time world BJJ champion, has been forced to pull out of the Abu Dhabi Championships set to take place the 26th-27th of this month. Gracie inititally suffered a bout of mumps and upon his return to training strained his knee, which would not be healed in time for the submission tournament. The 27-year-old Brazilian was set to compete against Robert Drysdale in a super fight.
Jeff Curran Invited to Abu Dhabi
With Pedro Sauer and Marcelo Garcia backing him, Jeff Curran has officially received his invitation from Sheikh Tahnoon of Abu Dhabi and United Arabic Emirates to the Abu Dhabi Combat Championships.
