This week on ‘The Ground & Pound’ **Powered by Jaco Clothing**, MMAMadness.com’s Hector Castro was joined by two special guest co-hosts Ron Yacovetti of Heavy.com and StrikeForce fighter Justin Wilcox. We were joined by WEC 46’s Urijah Faber and StrikeForce: Evolution’s King Mo Lawal.

Forrest Griffin and Josh Koscheck were just two of the winners at UFC 106. Others including Antonio Rogerio Noguiera, Amir Sadollah and Paulo Thiago.

Heavyweight contenders Cain Velasquez and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira are rumored to take on each other at UFC 108. The fight was first reported by the Web site Tatame and later confirmed by MMA Weekly.

The UFC has had a whirlwind booking process in the last few weeks with so many fighters having to pull out due to injury. The UFC confirmed the latest round of changes to three of its upcoming cards.

Cain Velasquez has maintained focused for his UFC 104 bout with Ben Rothwell despite all the things going on around him.

Josh Koscheck hasn’t been one to care who he fights or when. Koscheck announced through his Twitter account that he is fighting Mike Pierce at UFN 20 on Jan. 11, 2010.

Undefeated heavyweight mixed martial arts (MMA) prospects Shane Del Rosario (8-0) and Brandon Cash “Money” (5-0) will square off in a STRIKEFORCE Challengers matchup at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., on Friday, Nov. 6. Rising middleweight (185 pounds) stars Luke Rockhold (5-1) and Jesse “J T Money” Taylor (13-4) will duke it out that night as well.

“Nightmare” will take on BJ Penn for the lightweight title in December; but Sanchez doesn’t have to hold his breath hoping for a win to keep his job. According to sources close to the Sanchez camp, the lightweight title contender has signed an eight-fight contract with the UFC.
