MMA Junkie has received word of the UFC 104 medical suspensions. Heavyweight Pat Barry was suspended fro 180 days, and Lyoto Machida was suspended for 60 days.

Heavyweight Pat Barry learned a lesson in pacing himself in his last bout against Tim Hague. Now a little more experience, Barry will look to get back on the winning track against Antoni Hardonk at UFC 104.

Light heavyweights Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and Lyoto Machida each made weight and came in under the 205 pound limit. The same cannot be said for welterweight Anthony Johnson and lightweights Josh Neer and Gleison Tibau.

After April’s memorable UFC Fight Night(tm) in Nashville, The Ultimate Fighting Championship(r) (UFC(r)) is headed back to the great state of Tennessee to give the fans another night of world class mixed martial arts action as UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn faces possibly his toughest test at 155 pounds in the relentless Diego Sanchez at UFC 107: Penn vs. Sanchez, live from FedExForum in Memphis on Saturday, December 12th.

Spike TV will telecast live undercard bouts from UFC 104 on Saturday, October 24 at 9:00pm ET/PT from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The fights on Spike TV will include “The Ultimate Fighter 8” winner Ryan Bader, a rising star in the light heavyweight division, taking on “Red” Schafer. The one-hour telecast will run commercial-free. UFC 104 will run on pay-per-view event at 10:00pm ET.

UFC 104 has a close to completed card, featuring lightweight fighters Sean Sherk and Joe Stevenson. The main event for the card is Lyoto Machida taking on Shogun Rua.
