Rising middleweight (185 pounds) stars Luke Rockhold (5-1) and Jesse “J T Money” Taylor (13-4) will duke it out that night as well.

Jorge Gurgel vs Billy Evangelista will be the main event at Strikeforce Challengers
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Jorge Gurgel (13-5) will face undefeated Billy Evangelista as the main event of Strikeforce Challengers’ November 6 event. Gurgel defeated Conor Huen via unianimaous decision at Strikeforce’s June Challengers event. Evangelista was on the Challengers event a month prior where the bout was ruled a “No Contest” due to an illegal knee after originally being ruled as Mike Aina winning due to disqualification in the second round.
