Troubled TUF alum Junie Browning got back to his winning ways at MMA Big Show’s ‘Onslaught’ in Belterra, Indiana.

The Ultimate Fighter season eight winner Efrain Escudero will return to action at the unannounced Ultimate Fight Night 20 card, planned for Virginia. Escudero is rumored to fight Nik Lentz, AOL Fanhouse reported.

Lightweight fighter Junie Browning will make his return to the cage, after his recent troubles and release from the UFC as part of the MMA Big Show: Onslaught on Nov. 28 against Scott Cornwell. MMA Madness recently spoke to Browning’s coach and friend Shawn Tompkins, who confirmed that the bout was needed to get Browning back into fighting and moving forward with his life.

Junie Browning’s trainer and mentor Shawn Tompkins recently spoke about the circumstances surrounding Browning’s attempted suicide and subsequent arrest that occurred over the past 24 hours. Tompkins request that people not judge Browning as a bad person, but rather as someone who needs help and support.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that “The Ultimate Fighter” alumni Junie Browning was arrested in relation to an assault at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nev. Browning was admitted to St. Rose after a pair of friends brought him to the hospital, after it was reported that Browning took 16 pills of Klonopin, an anti-anxiety drug.

Efrain Escudero is prepared to shock the world. In his first fight since winning the “Ultimate Fighter” in December, Escudero has prepared for opponent Cole Miller to the point where he says he knows everything that Miller is going to do. If anyone is picking Miller, Escudero is excited to prove them wrong.

Spike TV will air a portion of the UFC pay-per-view undercard live to its audience for the first time ever, as the network presents bouts from UFC 103 in Dallas, TX commercial-free live Saturday, September 19 at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT. This telecast will mark the first time the network will air a fight-card without commercial interruption.
