Benson Henderson unified the WEC lightweight titles after defeating Jamie Varner in the third round of their championship fight. Former WEC featherweight champs Urijah Faber and Mike Brown were also victorious. The win secured Faber’s shot at featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo.

Twenty-two-year-old Chris Horodecki will make his WEC debut Saturday night against Anthony Njokuani. After gaining widespread recognition as a knock out artist with a baby face in the International Fight League, Horodecki knows he has a lot of expectations to live up to in his first fight back on a national level. When asked if his obvious game plan was to walk away with a knock out Horodecki was quick to respond.

Rafaello Oliveira found out that he has a new opponent for UFC 108, after his original opponent was swapped. Oliveira’s new opponent for the card is UFC newcomer John Gunderson, according to AMA’s Fight Club’s Mike Constantino, who confirmed it to MMA Madness.
