Roger Huerta may have reconsidered his position on choosing action over MMA. As Huerta spoke to Sherdog.com and stated “I can’t go out with two loses in a row. I don’t think I am calling it quits anytime soon.”

MMA Junkie is reporting that after a victory over Hermes Franca at UFC 103 this past Saturday lightweight Tyson Griffin (14-2) is being mentioned as the next possible contender for the title.

Philippe Nover’s fight at UFN 19 with Sam Stout was canceled because he suffered a seizure in the backstage area hours prior to the show. Nover commented on his blog about the event and assured everyone he is in good health.

The UFC handed out $30,000 bonuses to the fighters who won Fight of the Night, Submission of the Night and Knockout of the Night. Nate Quarry, Tim Credeur, Jeremy Stephens and Nate Diaz all picked up the bonuses.

Dana White announced through his Twitter page that Philippe Nover had a seizure in his locker room, and his fight with Sam Stout is officially off the Ulitimate Fight Night 19 card. White added that Nover is OK and that Stout was a class act about the whole situation.

Melvin Guillard, 26, has been a professional fighter for nearly eight years, but he’s been a fighter since the day he was born. Guillard has three back-to-back wins going into his fight with fellow TUF-alum Nathan Diaz Wednesday as the headliner for Ultimate Fight Night 19.

Kenny Florian will return to the announcer’s booth for Ultimate Fight Night 19 in Oklahoma City, Okla. He will replace Joe Rogan for the show, and will call the fights alongside Mike Goldberg.

All the fighters for UFN 19 made weight. Lightweight Nate Diaz needed to take a second weigh-in after weighing in a half pound over the limit.
