Maine Legalizes MMA
Earlier this week Maine Governor, John Baldacci, signed the bill allowing the creation of a Mixed Martial Arts Authority of Maine. The authority will be funded, for the most part, by fees to be paid by promoters, fighters and others involved in the production of events. Events and promotions can begin to take place in the Pine Tree State as early as March 2010.
